Mention of Spearthrower Owl in the Caractors Document

The multiple reading of the Caractors Document glyphs meaning "Gaddianton tribe" (presumably modified and finally engraved by Moroni) also provide the double glyph meaning in Egyptian of "to throw a spear" and "owl" with the translation being "Spearthrower Owl's tribe." The Egyptian glyph for owl and its cultural meaning of evil, death, and war are completely consistent with the name and motif of this leader of the evil Gaddiantons, who Mormon indicated that at the end of his book, this Gaddianton did provide the overthrow, and "almost the entire destruction of the people of Nephi" (2:13).
